  10. STARBOOKS generates purchase orders, maintains stock levels based on    
  11. sales rates, tracks and automatically updates your inventory, invoices  
  12. and bills your customers and tracks their accounts, keeps tabs on       
  13. backorders, and tracks sales trends and profits on an item-by-item      
  14. basis.  It's a big, smart comprehensive program -- and yet is           
  15. surprisingly simple to run.

  17. STARBOOKS does a lot more than similar programs costing over a thousand 
  18. dollars.  Set your proper inventory levels and STARBOOKS, through       
  19. computer generated SKU numbers, watches sales to make sure you order    
  20. soon enough, never forgetting to include backorders.  It generates      
  21. purchase orders by supplier and can automatically update stock levels.  
  22. It prints out stock lists for inventories and lets you identify your    
  23. shrinkage.

  25. The accounts receivable menu lets you generate invoices and statements  
  26. which list past due invoices.  Posting payments takes seconds.  While   
  27. the program does not age accounts, it generates a customer list with    
  28. account statuses.  It watches backorders and lets you split payments    
  29. among invoices.  If a customer phones in a query, you can bring up the  
  30. account in seconds.  Almost unique to the program is its ability to     
  31. generate long invoices with hundreds of items printed on it.

  33. Note: Read the documentation carefully.  This program has its own way of
  34. doing things and isn't very forgiving of experimental key pressing.
